Roger’s Personal Caregiving Story

Not knowing what will happen in our future, we can only plan for what may come and hope for the best outcome. Like many children in grade school, Roger was often asked by teachers what he wanted to be when he grew up. Being a caregiver was never part of the equation, nor is it something you typically plan for. However, when the need arises, it forces you to act decisively to prevent a challenging situation from getting worse.

In recent years, caregiving for two older family members has been a true "game changer" for Roger. The unexpected nature of this responsibility brought profound meaning to the career path he ultimately chose to follow. Caregiving is filled with emotional, physical, and financial challenges, compelling you to become resilient in overcoming whatever comes your way.

You can view caregiving as either a curse or a blessing. Roger has chosen to see it as a blessing. It has given him the strength and compassion to help others plan and prepare for their futures by tailoring plans to their specific needs. His experience has equipped him with the empathy and understanding necessary to guide families through the complexities of long-term care planning, ensuring they are better prepared for whatever the future holds.
